From Curiosity to Creation: Qurious Mind Conducts a Hands-On Robotics Workshop at Jadeed Urdu & English High School, Chimbel on 09 September 2026.
Curiosity is often the first step towards innovation. At Jadeed Urdu & English High School, Chimbel, 45+ students from Standard 6 to 10 had the opportunity to turn their curiosity into practical learning through an engaging Hands-On Robotics Workshop conducted by Qurious Mind.
The workshop introduced students to the exciting world of Robotics, Robotic Kits and Hands-on STEM Learning, giving them an opportunity to understand how ideas can be transformed into working models. Rather than simply learning about technology, students were encouraged to explore, experiment, build and discover how robotic systems work.
One of the highlights of the workshop was watching curiosity turn into a working windmill. Through this practical activity, students experienced the satisfaction of creating something tangible while learning how different components work together to achieve a desired outcome.
Hands-on activities such as these play an important role in modern STEM Education. Robotics provides students with a practical environment where concepts can move beyond textbooks and become real-world experiences. As students build and test their models, they naturally begin asking questions, identifying challenges and searching for solutions.
The workshop also helped students strengthen several essential future-ready skills, including smart thinking, creativity, teamwork and problem-solving. Working with robotic kits requires students to think logically, experiment with different approaches and collaborate with their peers. When a model does not work as expected, students learn to analyse the problem, make improvements and try again.
This approach makes robotics much more than a technical activity. It becomes a powerful learning experience that encourages confidence, creativity, collaboration and innovation.
The successful workshop was supported by the dedicated teachers from Jadeed Urdu & English High School – Shamshad Begum Xec, Hazra Ali and John, whose encouragement helped create an engaging learning environment for the students.
The Qurious Mind team was represented by instructors Reena, Myra and Santosh, who guided students through the activities and helped them explore robotics in an accessible and practical way.
At Qurious Mind, we believe that meaningful STEM education begins when students get the opportunity to learn by doing. Robotics workshops provide that opportunity by combining technology, creativity and experiential learning in an environment where students can explore their ideas and develop the confidence to build solutions.
As schools prepare learners for a rapidly changing world, exposure to robotics, STEM, coding and emerging technologies can help students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Experiences like this encourage young learners to become thinkers, creators, problem-solvers and future innovators.
The workshop at Jadeed Urdu & English High School, Chimbel, is another step towards making robotics education more accessible, practical and engaging for students in Goa.
Building skills. Building confidence. Building the future.
