Robotics Chavath 2026

Ganapati Bappa… Tech Morya!

Robotics Chavath is a cultural-technology competition that encourages students to combine the traditions of Ganesh Chaturthi with robotics, electronics, creativity, sustainability and digital storytelling. Participants must create a working project, demonstrate its functioning and present it through an Instagram Reel.

📜 Eligibility:

  • Open to students aged 8 to 16 years.
  • Students may participate individually or in teams.
  • Team Size: 1 to 4 students.
  • Participants may represent a school, institution, robotics club, cultural organisation or family.
  • Participants may submit projects in more than one category.
  • A separate Instagram Reel must be posted for every project.
  • All team members must fall within the prescribed age group.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Age Group:

  • Junior: 8 to 12 years
  • Senior: 13 to 16 years

Team Category Rule:
For team entries, the age of the oldest team member will determine the category.
Examples:
Ages 9, 10, 12 → Junior | Ages 10, 12, 13 → Senior | Ages 11, 14, 15 → Senior

🎬 Instagram Reel Requirement:

  • Format: Instagram Reel.
  • Duration: Minimum 60 seconds and maximum 90 seconds.
  • Orientation: Vertical or portrait.
  • Languages: English, Marathi or Konkani
  • English subtitles are encouraged when the presentation is not in English.

🧰 Permitted Kits & Materials:

Participants may use any suitable robotics kit, sensors, motors, electronic components, construction materials, recycled materials or self-developed mechanisms. No particular brand will receive additional marks.

📅 Competition Timeline:

  • Last Date of Submission: 25 September 2026.
  • All Instagram Reels must be posted on or before the deadline.
  • Late entries may not be considered.
  • Participants are advised not to wait until the last day.
