Prarambh Path Evening School (PPES) successfully conducted a Robotics Workshop on 11 January 2026 at its campus in Savardhat, a rural and remote area of Bicholim Taluka, Goa, marking another significant step toward experiential and future-oriented learning for its students. The workshop was conducted by Shri Bhikaji Gawade and assisted by Shri Jaganath Palyekar, Session initiated by Sansrujan Information Technology and supported and powered by Qurious Mind Infotainment Pvt. Ltd., Vasco, Goa.
The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on experience, making advanced technology accessible to learners from a rural background. The session began with an interactive talk where students were introduced to the basics of robotics, its applications and its growing relevance in today’s world. This was followed by a practical activity in which students built a working robot, allowing them to understand core concepts such as gearing mechanisms and mechanical movement.
The workshop proved to be an enriching and exciting experience for the students. Actively participating in the building process, they expressed enthusiasm and curiosity, stating that they learned something new, practical and interesting, unlike conventional classroom learning. The concluding session focused on career guidance, where students were made aware of future opportunities in the fields of robotics, automation, engineering and emerging technologies, encouraging them to think beyond traditional career paths.
The program was efficiently coordinated by Shri Anish Bhiva Naik, founding member of PPES, along with Shri Prathamesh Shinde, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the workshop. Initiatives like these highlight how PPES continues to bridge the gap between rural education and modern technological exposure.
