We are deeply grateful for the exceptional response to our inaugural Qurious Mind’s Sankalpana 1.0 – Goa STEM Challenge held at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco da Gama, on 23rd November 2024. The enthusiasm shown by students, the dedication of teachers, and the support from parents have truly exceeded our expectations. The event set a milestone in Goa’s educational realm.
In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Vasco Port Town and partnered with Ravindra Bhavan Baina, Prime Media Goa, Rotaract Club of Vasco Da Gama, Shirodkar Edutech Academy, Infinyt3D, and Sansrujan Information Technology, this event showcased a grand celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The initiative successfully convened budding innovators from various corners of the state of Goa.
The event featured five stimulating competitive categories that put participants’ skills and creativity to the test. The high-energy Robo Race, innovative Robotics Construction Challenge, knowledge-testing Science Quiz, creative Science EXPO, and practical Bridge Building Contest showcased students’ expertise. The event drew talented students from 20 schools across Goa, with over 250 participants demonstrating their innovative abilities.
A highlight of Sankalpana 2024 was the Robotics Construction Workshop, which received an overwhelming response, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience with Qurio Reach and Qurio Spark robotic kits. Additionally, Mr. Indra Kumar’s session “Fun with Science Experiments” made complex scientific concepts accessible and entertaining for all.
